Mrs. Van Kirk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French from Tufts University (Medford, MA, 1982) and a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2002).

Mrs. Van Kirk is a Special Counsel at TCM, where she currently represents clients in civil and commercial litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, trademark applications and litigation, DACO/retail-consumer issues, condominium law litigation and consulting, and condemnation litigation.  Mrs. Van Kirk has been working with bankruptcy cases for over 12 years. She also provides support in aspects related to business, corporate and real estate law matters.  Before joining TCM, Mrs. Van Kirk held the position of litigation and bankruptcy paralegal at the San Juan law firm of O’Neill & Borges. 

Mrs. Van Kirk is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  Mrs. Van Kirk is also a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She is fluent (verbal & written skills) in French and Italian.
