Mrs. López-Córdova holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus (2001), and a Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2006). 

Mrs. López-Córdova is a Principal at TCM. Her practice is concentrated in various areas of corporate and business law, including telecommunications, real estate, advertising, entertainment, and intellectual property law issues.  Mrs. López-Córdova has also developed a general civil and commercial litigation practice with emphasis in construction, real estate, telecommunications and contract disputes.

Mrs. Lopez-Córdova handles general commercial and corporate matters, including general contract drafting and negotiation.  She often provides advice to start-up companies and assists them in the preparation of organizational documents and agreements including articles of incorporation, by-laws, operating agreements, and shareholder agreements, among others.  She also works in a wide variety of real estate transactions (residential and commercial), including sales, acquisitions and leases, and has been actively involved in commercial lending, workouts and secured transactions.

Before attending law school, Ms. López-Córdova worked as an assistant producer for televised, promotional and special events.  Her background in advertising and television production has been a helpful tool in assisting clients in a wide variety of intellectual property, right of publicity and entertainment industry transactions such as drafting and negotiating assignment agreements, licenses and releases.  She also provides counsel to clients on the protection and registration of intellectual property rights and on the clearance of third party rights, including music rights, for films, television productions and advertisements. She also works in film financing and in the preparation and negotiation of film and television production contracts.

Mrs. López-Córdova is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Mrs. López-Córdova is also a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
